These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Zafiros website, online booking systems, table reservations, ticketed events, private hire bookings, and Bottomless Brunch experiences.

By accessing our website, making a booking, purchasing a ticket, or attending an event at Zafiros, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. General Website Terms of Use

The content of this website is provided for general information purposes only. Whilst we make reasonable efforts to ensure all information is accurate and up to date, we do not guarantee the completeness, reliability, or accuracy of all content.

Menus, pricing, opening hours, event details, promotions, and availability are subject to change without notice.

3. Table Reservations & Online Booking Terms

3.1 Booking Confirmation

All reservations are subject to availability.

A booking is only confirmed once you receive confirmation from Zafiros or our booking platform provider.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings at our discretion.

3.2 Arrival Times & Late Arrivals

Tables are held for a maximum of 15 minutes after the booking time unless otherwise agreed.

If you are running late, we recommend contacting the venue directly.

Late arrival may result in reduced table time or cancellation where necessary.

3.3 Cancellations & Amendments

Customers are asked to provide as much notice as possible for cancellations or amendments.

Certain events, large group bookings, ticketed events, or promotional bookings may be subject to specific cancellation terms or deposits.

Deposits and ticket purchases may be non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

3.4 Group Bookings

For larger group reservations, Zafiros may require:

  • A deposit;

  • Pre-orders;

  • Minimum spend requirements;

  • Time restrictions;

  • A card authorisation.

Specific terms will be communicated at the time of booking.

3.5 Seating Requests

Whilst we will always try to accommodate seating requests, table locations cannot be guaranteed.

3.6 Children & Minors

Children under the age of 16 must remain supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

In accordance with licensing laws, under-18s may be subject to restricted access during late evening hours or certain events.

3.7 Allergens & Dietary Requirements

We provide allergen information upon request.

However:

  • Our kitchen handles multiple allergens;

  • We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment;

  • Cross-contamination may occur;

  • We do not operate a dedicated gluten-free kitchen.

Customers with severe allergies or dietary concerns must inform a member of staff before ordering.

3.8 Right of Refusal

Zafiros reserves the right to:

  • Refuse service;

  • Refuse alcohol sales;

  • Refuse entry;

  • Cancel bookings;

  • Remove customers from the premises.

This includes behaviour considered:

  • Aggressive;

  • Abusive;

  • Threatening;

  • Disruptive;

  • Harassing;

  • Excessively intoxicated;

  • Unsafe to staff or other customers.

No refunds will be issued where removal or refusal results from customer behaviour.

4. Ticketed Events & Promotions

4.1 Event Tickets

Tickets purchased for events are subject to availability and may be non-refundable unless:

  • The event is cancelled by Zafiros; or

  • UK consumer law requires otherwise.

4.2 Event Changes

We reserve the right to:

  • Amend event formats;

  • Change entertainment;

  • Alter timings;

  • Substitute advertised acts or DJs;

  • Adjust menus or drinks selections;

  • Cancel events where necessary.

4.3 Promotional Offers

Promotions, discounts, happy hours, and special offers:

  • Are subject to availability;

  • May be withdrawn at any time;

  • Cannot normally be combined unless explicitly stated.

4.4 Conduct at Events

Customers attending events must comply with:

  • Licensing laws;

  • Staff instructions;

  • Security procedures;

  • Venue safety requirements.

Any customer failing to comply may be removed from the premises without refund.

5. Bottomless Brunch Terms & Conditions

To ensure compliance with the Licensing Act 2003 and Cornwall Council licensing requirements, all Bottomless Brunch sessions operate under strict service and safety controls.

By purchasing or participating in a Bottomless Brunch session at Zafiros, all guests agree to the following mandatory conditions.

5.1 Eligibility & Age Verification

Challenge 25

Zafiros operates a strict Challenge 25 policy.

Any customer who appears under the age of 25 may be required to present valid photographic identification before being served alcohol.

Accepted forms of ID are:

  • Passport;

  • UK or EU driving licence;

  • PASS-accredited identification card.

Failure to provide valid identification may result in refusal of alcohol service or refusal of entry.

Intoxication on Arrival

Management and SIA security staff reserve the absolute right to refuse entry to any guest who appears intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.

No refunds will be issued where entry is refused for this reason.

5.2 Security & Safety Measures

For customer and staff safety:

  • SIA licensed security staff may be present;

  • Random bag searches may be conducted;

  • Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited;

  • Illegal substances are strictly prohibited.

Any prohibited items may be confiscated and customers may be refused entry or removed from the premises.

5.3 Food Requirement

The Bottomless Brunch package is only available when purchased alongside an accompanying food item or set menu.

Food must be ordered and served during the session.

This requirement forms part of our responsible alcohol retailing controls.

5.4 Duration & Service Limits

Bottomless Brunch sessions operate for the advertised duration only.

The final alcoholic drink order will be taken no later than 1 hour and 45 minutes after the official session start time.

No exceptions will be made.

5.5 Responsible Alcohol Service

All alcohol service is subject to responsible drinking policies.

The following rules apply:

  • One alcoholic drink per person may be served at a time;

  • Multiple alcoholic drinks may not be supplied simultaneously to one individual;

  • Customers must substantially finish their current drink before ordering another;

  • Double measures are not included unless specifically advertised;

  • Free-pouring of alcohol is prohibited.

All alcoholic drinks are served using legal and calibrated measures.

5.6 Drinks Included

Only drinks specifically included within the advertised package are covered under the Bottomless Brunch offer.

Premium upgrades or substituted drinks may carry additional charges.

Availability may vary due to stock levels.

5.7 Non-Alcoholic Options & Water

Free drinking water is available at all times.

Non-alcoholic alternatives and mocktails may be included as part of the package.

5.8 Refusal of Alcohol Service

Zafiros staff are trained in responsible alcohol retailing and reserve the right to refuse further alcohol service at any point.

Alcohol service may be refused where:

  • A guest appears intoxicated;

  • A guest is drinking irresponsibly;

  • Staff believe further service may compromise safety;

  • Licensing objectives may be breached.

All refusals may be logged in accordance with licensing procedures.

No refunds or compensation will be issued where service is refused on safety or licensing grounds.

5.9 Seating & Venue Rules

Bottomless Brunch operates as a seated event with table service.

Customers may be required to remain seated while consuming alcohol.

Standing drinking or disruptive behaviour may not be permitted.

5.10 Capacity Management

Attendance is capped in line with venue capacity limits, staffing levels, and safety procedures.

5.11 Music, Atmosphere & Venue Transition

At the conclusion of the Bottomless Brunch session:

  • Music volume may be adjusted;

  • Standard bar pricing will apply;

  • Venue atmosphere may transition into regular service.

5.12 Community & Noise Control

To minimise public nuisance and support local residents:

  • Guests are requested to leave quietly;

  • External doors may remain closed during amplified music;

  • Glass disposal may be restricted during late-night hours.

5.13 Removal from Premises

Any customer behaving in a dangerous, disorderly, aggressive, abusive, or excessively intoxicated manner may be removed from the venue immediately.

Refunds will not be issued in these circumstances.

6. Private Hire & Large Functions

6.1 Deposits

Private hire bookings may require a deposit or staged payments.

Deposits may be non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6.2 Final Numbers

Final attendance numbers may be required in advance.

Charges may apply based on confirmed minimum numbers.

6.3 Decorations & External Suppliers

Any external entertainment, suppliers, decorations, or equipment must be approved by management in advance.

Items that may damage the premises or compromise safety may not be permitted.

6.4 Venue Conduct

The organiser is responsible for the conduct of all guests attending the event.

Zafiros reserves the right to end events early or refuse alcohol service where necessary.

7. Loyalty Scheme Terms

Where applicable, loyalty schemes or reward programmes:

  • Remain the property of Zafiros;

  • May be amended, suspended, or withdrawn at any time;

  • Have no cash value unless explicitly stated.

Points, discounts, or rewards may be refused where misuse or fraud is suspected.

8. CCTV & Security Monitoring

24-hour CCTV is in operation throughout parts of the premises for:

  • Crime prevention;

  • Public safety;

  • Staff protection;

  • Licensing compliance.

Recorded footage may be shared with police, licensing authorities, insurers, or other lawful bodies where legally required.

9. Health & Safety

Zafiros maintains:

  • Fire safety procedures;

  • Emergency exits;

  • First aid equipment;

  • Trained first aid personnel.

Customers must comply with all emergency instructions provided by staff.

10. Personal Property

Customers are responsible for their personal belongings.

Zafiros accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal items unless caused by proven negligence.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zafiros shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses;

  • Loss of enjoyment;

  • Loss of profits or business;

  • Technical website failures;

  • Event changes outside our reasonable control.

Nothing within these Terms excludes liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence;

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;

  • Any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Force Majeure

Zafiros shall not be liable for failure or delay in performing obligations where caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Severe weather;

  • Power failure;

  • Government restrictions;

  • Public health emergencies;

  • Staff shortages;

  • Industrial disputes;

  • Supplier failures;

  • Acts of God.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
